Gunmen attack Afghanistan mosque killing many worshippers

At least seven killed as gunmen open fire on worshippers offering evening prayers at a mosque in Parwan province.

Gunmen have opened fire in a mosque in central Afghanistan, killing at least seven worshippers and wounding five others, officials said.

Parwan province's police chief Haroon Mubarez said on Tuesday the gunmen stormed the mosque when worshippers were offering evening prayers after breaking their Ramadan fast.
